So If you have not herd Michael and i are going to have another baby!!! I am 14 weeks and i am due Aug. 9th...and we are so excited! Halle is also...she is always singing to the baby and wanting to feed it things threw my bellybutton (um...little awkward :)...but so cute) Halle is always saying baby come out....poor girl she is going to have to wait quite sometime. We have heard the babies heart beat a few times now and she tells EVERYONE i heard the babies heart BEEP :) Halle makes this preg. so much fun and she makes Michael and i even more excited!!! In our last check up we found out that we will being finding out the sex of the baby March 10th...and then the real fun begins! Pics. will be coming soon :)

We had a very fun Halloween. We tried to hit up all if the fun thing they had around town and we got some fun pictures to share. Halle was a pirot and i must say she was the cutes one i have ever seen :)....but she did not like to dress up so we ditched the hat and the hook :)

This was are trunk for the trunk or Treat...this was the first year cowley did it and i loved it and so did Halle she got so much candy in a short amount of time :)

It is so crazy that Halloween is over and now i am thinkin about Thanks Giving and then Halle's Birthday which is crazy because she is turning the BIG 2!!! She had Grown up way to fast and she is such a sweet and fun little girl!!! Michael and i love her so much!!! Well That was are Halloween and i hope everyone had a good one!!!

Merry Christmas everyone....sorry i am a little late. I must say though that we had a great Christmas...it is always so fun seeing friends and Family! To start off our Christmas we went over to my mom's new house and opened the gifts form the brothers and sister and form my mom! The grand kids also open there grandma gifts! then off to caroling with the welch and croft family! Next we went to Grandalen's and ate dinner and had a little program...a game a tout them was called pass the bloomers the game is kinda like musical chairs but you pass around a wrapped gift and you tell them who ever the box land on in the 4th round then you have to where what is in this box...so you turn on the music and the game begins. On the 4th round the box landed on Michael's grandpa his face turned bright red! But i was nice i had wrapped a snicker candy bar that said it would have really made me snicker seeing you in wear those bloomers! we was really happy that her did not have to wear the bloomers! After everyone left we set out the gifts

Then Christmas morning after we opened our gifts we went to my G&G Crofts for Christmas breakfast. It was lots of fun but kinda sad because this is going to be the last Christmas Breakfast and they had been doing it for 35 years! (CRAZY)

Then of course we went to dinners with at my mom's house with the Lynams and everyone knows that is going to be a great time! Christmas was so great this year (well like every year) I love seeing everyone and of course the gifts! Halle made it extra special for Michael and i! I hope everyone had a great Christmas!

THis was the first cake i ever made :) (ps i do make michael a cake but he always likes cheese cake for his birthday)

Where has the year gone Halle has turned 1 on Dec. 18th and it just seems like yesterday we were bring her back for the hospital. Time flies even faster when you have a baby! Halle is such a joy in our lives. She has brought Michael and i so much closer and much more them a couple we are now a family! Halle can make us smile on a drop of a hat....she is our little jokster and we love ever minute of it! I would have to say that Michael and i were very blessed halle is such a good girl except with sleeping....she is getting better! :)

I also wanted to thank everyone for coming to halle's first birthday....as you can tell from the name we haad a Winter"1"derland party for her! there was so many people and she really got spoiled! Happy Birthday Love!!!

Halle went and saw Santa Claus and i was pleasantly surprised...she did not cry...but she did not smile either! It was so funny because all she wanted to do it play with Santa's beared!

It getting to look a lot like Christmas around our house...i love decorating for the holidays. I wish i could have went all out but Michael says we will get a little at a time! Michael's 25th Birthday!

Friday Dec. 11th was Michael's birthday! It was so much fun we all went to the lamp lighter and then topped off the night with ALL of the fam. coming over to our house for cheese cake (made from scratch) and ice cream ( not made from scratch :)) It is always so fun to get together with family!

Michael, is such a wonderful husband, daddy, and person!!! We just love him so much...he is such a hard worker (maybe to hard). I can truly say he is my EVERYTHING and i don't know what i would do with out him! Babe, i hope you had a wonderful birthday and always know that Halle and i love you so so so much!!! Happy Birthday babe!!!

Halle Is a go getter when it comes to walking...she started a week before her 11 month birthday....and now she is walking all the time!!! she can even stand up all by her self and start!!! as you can tell Michael and i are very proud :)

Also halle experenced her first Thanks Giving....and she LoVeD it!!! She had so many serving....she really liked the stuffing! she is so fun and so cute!!! We love you Halle and daddy and i are very thankful to having you!!! Happy late thanks giving everyone!

10 Months

Halle is now 10 months old and i really cannot believe it( i think i say that every month but really it is so crazy) halle is getting so big and she know it...she is so independent and loves to do things on her own. Also, Halle now has her two bottom teeth....i love them they are so adorable!

This month halle is 21 lbs and growing like a weed!

Halle has been trying all kinds of big great food and really loving everything...she really loves green beans, Mashed potato's, and bread! (gotta love those carbs...just like her mommy)

Halle is also crawling like crazy and can walk along furniture really well...she also really loves her walker....we have wood floor threw out our house and them we have a 10 by 10 rug in the living room...she would not go off the rug because she gets going to fast so she would bell off! Now she is getting more evil cunevil on us and going on the wood flore! I think halle is going to walking any time now....i cannot believe i have a baby who is crawling and soon will be walking!

Halle is also our little jokester...she loving being silly and loves people to laugh at what she is doing and clap for her...we went to my brother Joey's football game and when the crowd would clap she would get all excited like they were clapping for her...then she would clap to!!! So cute

I have been trying different things with Halle's hair and this is one that i came up with....ps...the trick is to do your kids hair in the tub...Halle loves the tub to much she does not care what i do to her hair!!! makes it easy and cry free :)

So as everyone knows halle had to get tubs put in her ears on Monday. And she did great!!! The only hard thing was at the very beginning...they gave halle vitamin "v" which helps her to be calm when they take her to surgery....it was not so fun...she was so out of it and it broke mine and Micheal's heart to see her like that. So after she left i broke down....i did not like not being by her side. Luckily the surgery only took like 30 min. and then we could go see our little girl! she was not the happiest coming out of anaseshya (cant spell) but we made it threw! I am so glad we put tubs in she has not tugged at her ears and she is a lot happier girl ( I must say though she has always been a happy baby...the doc. said she must be a strong cookie because she is not showing any singes of pain except for the tugging on the ear) Also i wanted to thank everyone for the advice...it made me feel better to see that other people got tubs for there kids also....being a mom is a hard job you ... i never want halle to feel any pain or to ever be scared...now i understand how my mom always said she wished she could take some of our burdens off of us! Well i hope that it is the end of our surgeries for halle and the rest of our kids....thanks again everyone

Bad News

Well I have some not so fun news...our little girl has to get tubs in her ears this Monday :( Halle has had a constant ear ache for about 4 months so we thought that it would be best. it is a little scared and i know that it is not a big surgery...but to me any surgery on my little girl is scary. I am also a little nervous because she cannot eat pass 12 that night and halle is still waking up once a night around 2:30 am wanting to eat...so that is going to be hard not feeding her...and she is not going to know what is going on! I just hope everything goes well....her surgery is a 6 in the morning so hopefully we will be in and out and on our way home! keep halle in your prays! And if anyone has any advice we would love to hear it :)

8 Months

Halle is now 8 months almost 9 and i really cannot believe it!!! I must say it is really bitter sweet because i am loving all of the new things but am really missing some of her baby things! But she is ONE FUN LITTLE GIRL though! She cracks us up all of the time....she is our little jokester :) This month though has been a little hard, because Halle and i both got thrush...and that is not fun at all so after the second go around of it I decided to supplement with Formula to give me time to heal...and halle is a little trouper...she took it great and i did not realize how much that girl can eat!!! we go threw a can of formula about ever 3 days 4 if we are lucky! But thrush is not the only fun thing that we had to go threw...helle one day started getting all the these rashes and i was not sure what from i didn't know if it was from the formula or what....we later found out that she was getter Heat rashes....then lets not forget about the ear aches....Michael said i guess if it is going to rain it miswell pore and that it did... really hate not knowing what is wrong when halle is acting up and am really glad that the things were not that major! But other then those 3 things halle has been feeling great :)

Halle is now Standing up on everthing...and Crawling. She started with the army crawl then like a week later she went to crawling...and now she is starting to bear crawl (it is so cute on leg will do the normal crawl and the other will to the bear crawl) halle is also busting out the tri-pod stance she will stratin out her legs in the crawling posision...Oh and her little head dance she is bustin out the night of the rocks beary head shake she does it all the time and she know it makes us laugh so she just keeps doing it :)....she is so funny!!!
we are enjoying halle so so much and she is such a sweet little girl!!! We love Halle and we are very blessed to have you in our life!!!

Some friends and i went to the kelly Clarkson Concert this weekend and Tiffany was rockin and got us 2 row tickets!!! We were so close to her and it was such a blast! She seems like such a fun girl and i love her music!!! She has great songs!

7 Months

My little girl is 7 months and 3 days old...i can't believe it! She is getting so big... at the moment she is in size 4 diapers and wares 12 to 18 month clothes! She is loosing more rolls and getting so tall....and we are looking for a big girl car seat...crazy! I was looking back at all of her baby pics and i cannot believe she was ever that small i see new borns around and i am just in awe on how small everything is! Now, dont get me wrong Halle is still my baby but she is trying to be such a big girl. I love seeing all of her stages and cant wait for the next stage but it is a little bitter sweet because we can never go back and that makes me sad! Halle is the apple of our eye and such a beautiful baby girl!!! She has such a fun personality and is always happy (unless she is hungry or tired she get that from her mom :)) She is always laughing and being silly! SHE CAN NOW SAY MAMA!!! And i love it!!! I think dada is still her favorite word...but that will change ;)! She now cries when either Micheal or i leave the room...and i hate it it makes me sad! in halle resent

6 MONTHS!!!

Halle has just turned 6 months on the 18th and had her doc. appointment she get their last shots...well for a while. :( But our little angel is growing like a weed...she is NOW 28 3/4 inches long which puts her well off the charts and she is 17 lbs 10.5 oz i was surprised when i saw that is all she weighed but that puts her in between the 75% and 80% so she is just getting supper tall and loosing a few rolls...which makes me a little sad because i love her rolls!

Halle's Accomplishments this month are:

A pretty good Roller

First Word...Dada( i worked so hard for her first word to be MaMa but no luck) And Michael is loving that she is saying Dada and she is saying it so clear

She is loving her Baby food (we have only gave her veggies so far)

She is only waking up once (and i can handle one time a night :))

She gives kisses

she is smiling and giggling even more if you can believe it

She had gone to her first Parade (go Lovell's days)

She will cry if Michael or i leave the room ( but i dont like that one...it brakes my heart)

And now she is needing a big girl car seat

Halle is such a sweet loving little girl and we could not have asked for a better daughter...i am not sure why we are so lucky to have her but i am sure glad we do it is crazy to think that i had her 6 months ago it seems like i just had her yesterday!!! We are enjoying every moment with her and are excited for whats to come...Halle daddy and i love you...you have are hearts and daddy wrapped around your pinkie finger :)

Thought i would write you a little birthday Blog and tell you how GREAT and SPECIAL you are!!! Lacey You have always been there for me threw the crazy fun times but also the sad and hard times too. You are such a great friend to me and i know i can always count of you for anything!!! It is crazy that we have been best friends for so long...it seems like yesterday we were jumping threw rain puddles in the freezing cold or driving in reverse all threw Lovell and lets not forget sneaking me into the college dances dressed up like baseball players (oh the good old days) :) But now look at us we are mothers to beautiful little girls!!! Lacey...i can truly say that you are one of the sweetest and most kind person i know!!! You are such a wonderful mother and wife and Eric and Lauren are very lucky to have you in their lives!!! I hope everyone gets the chance to meet such a great women like you and have a friend ship like ours! Lace i love you so much and thanks for always being there for me threw all of the fun and exciting years!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY good lookin :)

Thinking she's a BIG girl!

Are little Halle had her 4 month appointment a couple weeks ago and i still cant believe how big she is...she is above the 95% in all categories. She weighed 16 1/2 lbs and .5 oz and she was 26 1/2 inches long. She such a big girl and she likes to act like a big girl too....i thought i would share some of Halle's adventures that she has let us experience with her :) As you can see SHE let me put a pony tail in her hair (which she hated) You can barley see it but we got one in :) She also Let daddy read the news paper with her as long as she gets the sports page and comics first :)! She has also allowed us to feed her some rice which she loves (but i am not sure if the rice loves her....we are still figuring that one out) she is also sitting up all by herself and has rolled over twice but it scared her so she has not done it again. But we are working on that one.Helle is also talking up a storm and her little (or should i say BIG) personality is coming out! She is so hilarious

We are so grateful and blessed to have such a fun, loving, and healthy baby!!! She is getting so big and it is so much fun to go threw all of the stages with her! WE LOVE HER SO SO SO MUCH!!!

Easter!!!

This year Easter was so much fun...we got to celebrate it with are little girl! On Sunday we spent a lot of time with are families and Halle got to go to two easter egg hunts.....and of coarse she got to get all dressed up in her easter dress!!! she looked adorable! So after church we when to the Grandalens and ate lunch, tiff and her two kids where down and poor pat had to work but we were definitely thing about him but is was so fun hanging out with them!!! and after lunch all of the grand kids had a fun little easter egg hunt!! Helle (and daddy) found lots of eggs and some of the eggs had money in them and Halle made 2 dollars whoo...hooo!!! After the easter egg hunt we moved on and whet to my grandma Croft for some Dinner. (we were stuffed all day) after dinner it was easter egg hunt number two!!! Easter was so much fun and it was so fun to see all of my family!!!

So this weekend Michael, Halle, and i went to Utah for Michael's Mission reunion, it was so much fun! I finely got to put a face to a name and Michael got to meet up with some of his good friends he met on his mission! Michael served with some great people and his mission president was so great to him and it was so fun to meet him also! He has such a great light around him and same with his wife! Michael was a zone leader and also the presidents assistant and so he really got to know Present Packer and Michael told me all about the fun and spiritual times they had together! And so when i finely got to meet him it was just like me seeing a great friend also, and that is how he made me feel and his wife also :) On this trip we also took Halle swimming for her first time, the water was kind of cold so i was not sure how she was going to like it. But no worries she LOVED it!!! she was kicking around and just loving the water! So before we took this trip we were really worried how Halle would drive and once again she surprised us she slept almost the entire way and woke up to eat only twice on the way up and twice on the was down! Are little girl accomplished a lot of first on this trip and took them like a champ we have such a special little one and we are so thankful for her!!!

So the other night Kim, Cleve, Michael, and i went out on a date with of course are two little girls! after we go done eating we came over to my house and our little girls had some time to hang out and have a little play date!

the girls had so much fun, kenley was always trying to hold hands with halle it was so cute! And it is so funny because Halle is about 2 months younger then Kenley and she is 3lbs bigger and looked to chunky compared to Kenley!!!

i thought this was such a cute pic. are hubby's are watching the game with there girls...Kim thank for hanging out with us it was so much fun and we are going to have to let our little ones have a play date again oh and are husbands ;)

So halle is almost 3 mouths old and it is so crazy....she has stated smiling and giggling!!! We are loving every minute of parent hood! At Halle's 2 mouth check up she weighed 13 lbs and 5.5 oz. and was 24 inches long all above the 95 % :) are little one is so big and chunky! I love it! At night she only wakes up at 4:30 or 5 and on a bad night at 2 and 5 but i can live with that! Being a mother is the best thing ever she is the apple of are eye :)

we were having fun with the camera and she was giving me all kinds of faces :) she is are little poser!

For valentines Michael said he was going to go wash his truck....and he came home with a rose and a Dog For halle and a dozen roes for me he is such a good daddy:) as you can tell she loves her dog!

another thing we get done at her 2 mouth check up was shots :( she hated them and she let me no it, i felt so bad and i am not excited for her 4 mouth shots :(

Are little Halle loves her Daddy...they are always cuddling. Micheal calls her his cuddle bug! Michael's body is so long and she she loves to stretch out and sleep on his chest it is so cute!

This is the first time Michael fed halle.... he loved it! If i could i would shear the feeding duties but it is hard when Micheal does not have the goods! :) but every chance her get he loves to feed her!

Michael loves his little girl and halle loves him to!!! i am so lucky to have such a great little family and such a great husband i could not have asked for a better life!!! wait maybe more sleep :) but oh well!!!

Halle Kay Grandalen was born Dec. 18 at 10:05, she was 9 lbs 1 oz (She was a chunker...love it) and 22 1/2 inches long!!! I was in labor with her for 9 hours and and then we saw are beautiful little one!!!

Micheal was so great!!! He was the best coach and really helped me get threw the pain, it was cute because when they would ask if i wanted the drugs he would not even ask me he would just say YES SHE DOES!!! He did not like seeing me in pain, he is such a confort to me and he is such a great daddy!!! HE does so well with our little girl and i am so lucky that he is the father of my children! ...i love him so much!!! I am loving being a mommy and having are little family!!!

So this has been the longes month EVER!!! I mean i have been very luck because i have felt great threw out the hole Pregnancy ...but i am ready to see our little girl!!! I only have SIX more days but that seams so far away....Micheal and i have talked to our doc. about starting me on the 18 she said that we would talk about it on my next appt. i really hope she says YES!!! Well just thought i would vent a little bit :) It is also so fun to see how excited micheal is getting....i mean he has always been excited but now that it is so close i can just tell he is way excited I LOVE IT!!! My hubby is so cute!!! and he is going to be such a great daddy!!! Our little girl is going to have him wrapped around her little finger!!! :)

A man comes to your door asking about a survey he is doing on Baking Soda....
So i was sitting at home eating some lunch and i hear a Knock on my door....so of course i answer it and there is this guy (who looks kinda creepy) at my door with a box of baking soda, then he asked "do you use baking soda" and i said NO! Then he hands be this box of baking soda and i took it (bad Idea) and then he say OK wait just a sec. and RUNS OFF...so there i am holding this freaking box of baking soda. NEXT the guy runs up to the door with a huge box (and i am like crap why did i take the baking soda) and just walks in. I keep the door open because i was scared out of my mind like what does this guy have in this box....anyways then he starts putting this vacuum together like he was Jeff Gordon's Pitt cue and just starts going off about this vacuum....then another guy walks in and shuts the door that i kept open for a reasoned. The next thing i know the guy starts vacuuming my floor...at first i was like sweet...oh wait no CREEPER! and he just still talking 100 Mph....Any ways at the end of this 2 HOUR demonstration (I know LONG TIME) of the KERBY vacuum he tells me the price...2000 dollars! So i of course said sorry we just cant right now....the man would not give up...he called his supervisor and asked if he could give me his family and friend discount (BULL) and how much they would take off if i traded in my vacuum they said $970....WOW right we got it for like $100! But i stood my ground and said no....the guy would still not leave he kept on talking and talking and then he wanted me to call my husband to ask him and so i pretended like i did and i told him that he was not answering! Then the guy goes to call his boss to tell him what i said and he does not have service....so he used my phone...i did not think they were EVER going to LEAVE...good thing Lacey was there for the last hour of it or i would have been really scared all by my self...to cut the story in half....they finally left and i still have my $100 vacuum! And by the way why was he asking about the Baking Soda? So...if a Man ever comes to your door asking about Baking Soda just say NO THANK YOU!!!!

So Michael and i have been going to these prenatal classes every Thurs. and we have only been to 2 and they do give you some good info. on things you could not ever think of.....but in our second class we were talking about different positions you could do to relieve the pain when you were in labor....and so we were all just talking about what we knew and the teacher was giving us great info. Next she says that we were all going to watch a movie and the movies had 3 different deliveries on it. So we were like OK no big deal...i mean i have watched a Baby Story on TV....let me tell you that is was way different then a Baby Story...in the movie they showed the whole thing, it was so crazy....you guys i am not sure that i am going to be able to handle going threw all that! And the scary thing is i don't really want the epidural (I am so afraid of Needles) but now i am thinking that it is sounding good! :) And to all you weman out there who has had babies i totally look up to you! Just thought i would vent a little :)

Well Michael was asked to talk at the priesthood leadership meeting, and it was on FHE and when he told me this i was like "Oh No" because when we were first married we were a lot better at having it....then we kinda slacked off :( So now we are back on it trying to have FHE every Monday...so the talk was a good little push to get us Motivated to having FHE. Also, we are going to be starting are family and i really believe they FHE really helps brings families closer together! So this Monday Michael and I made cookies and took them over to my mom and wrote her a little note! We had not seen them in a while so if was fun to visit! It was also fun goofing around with Michael and making cookies! This is Michael's way of doing penut butter cookies ( he was kidding...i hope jk)(ps like the pears and chilly good combo)

Well Tracy was so kind to ask Michael and I if she could take some belly pictures of us...and of course i was so excited! They are so fun to have and i recommend everyone to get them if they are expecting! She did such a great job and i would just like to thank her for doing them!!! (I am almost 8 months in these pics....Coming soon)

It's A Girl!!!

We have found out that we are having a baby girl...and of course i started crying because i am a ball baby like that. It was just so crazy to see her moving around in my tummy and finding out what Michael and i were having...and she was not shy, she just let it all show. We will have to teach her that modesty matters once she gets out :) But we are so excited, and i hope she has hair, so hopefully Daddy Michael will shine threw and give our daughter some beautiful locks...because if she gets my gens she will be bold FOREVER! Speaking of Michael...he of course wanted a BOY like every other guy...but he is so excited to have a little girl to cuddle with him and to play with. He is going to be such a GREAT DAD!!! I can't wait to see him with her!!! I could not have asked for a better dad for my children...i really lucked out! He is already talking about what he wants to teach her...like how to fish and to snow-mo-bill!!! I love it...so now she just needs to come so we can see her...ONLY 2 MONTHS TO GO!!! Dec. 18th is coming so FAST!!!
